Ravenscroft has expanded its new business team with the appointment of Iain Bailey as new business supervisor.
Mr Bailey, who has more than a decade’s experience in the finance industry, joins the team responsible for reviewing new account applications, client reviews and client due diligence across the group, which now has offices in Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man and the UK.
‘Iain’s experience within the AML and risk environment will be invaluable for the role. Ensuring that client applications and reviews are dealt with quickly, efficiently and meet the growing regulatory requirements is vital to the success of Ravenscroft. The new business and client services teams have grown quickly to meet the needs of our clients and how they deal with applications and enquiries influences the company’s reputation,’ said head of client services Sophie Yabsley.
Mr Bailey, who holds the ICA Advanced Certificate in Practical Customer Due Diligence, said he was looking forward to being part of Ravenscroft’s continued success.
‘I have always heard good things about Ravenscroft so when the opportunity came up to work for them, I couldn’t say no. After my initial meeting with Ravenscroft, it was obvious that they have a very unique culture and are very driven in what they do, while offering a very supportive and entrepreneurial environment to work in,’ he said.
Outside of work, Mr Bailey, who is married with two children, enjoys running and fitness.
