Conor Cummins has secured sponsorship from Ravenscroft as he gets ready to challenge for the title in the 2022 Isle of Man TT.
The investment management company launched in the Isle of Man in August 2020 and has already made a significant commitment to sport with sponsorship of Isle of Man Rugby and Isle of Man Cricket. Now it has become an official sponsor of Cummins who has added the Ravenscroft logo to the chin bar of his helmet.
‘I am extremely grateful to Ravenscroft for its support and it means a lot that a local business is backing me. Sponsorship is extremely hard to come by but it makes an enormous difference as it allows me to compete more and improve. It is clear from speaking to the Ravenscroft team that they want to give back to the community,’ said Cummins.
The support from Ravenscroft allows Cummins, who will be riding the latest generation Padgetts Milenco Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade for the 2022 race season, to compete in the North West 200, the British Superbike Championship and this year’s Isle of Man TT.
‘My aim is to win every race but there is stiff competition and the pace will be fierce. The TT will of course be my biggest race as it is my local race and it is very special that it is back. The ultimate would be to achieve my career goal of winning the TT, it’s why I go racing and would mean everything to me.’
Will Corrin, director of Ravenscroft in the Isle of Man, said that supporting Cummins in what was the biggest sporting event in the island was exciting for the Ravenscroft team.
‘It is part of the Ravenscroft ethos to support the communities within which we operate and as the number of islanders who invest with us grows so does that support. It was clear from our discussions with Conor how passionate he was about racing and importantly how proud he was of being from the Isle of Man. Ravenscroft is thrilled to be supporting him and wish him every success for the season ahead.’
