Ravenscroft picks up two Wealthbriefing Awards

Ravenscroft has been named as Overall Investment Manager with AuM over £5 billion and its CIO Kevin Boscher picked up the Chief Investment Officer award at The WealthBriefing Channel Islands Awards 2023.

The annual WealthBriefing Channel Islands Awards programme recognises the most innovative and exceptional firms, teams and individuals. The awards have been designed to showcase outstanding organisations grouped by specialism and geography which the prestigious panel of independent judges deemed to have ‘demonstrated innovation and excellence during the last year’.

Each of these categories is highly contested and is subject to a rigorous process before the ultimate winner is selected by the judges. It is this process that makes WealthBriefing awards so prized amongst winners.

The WealthBriefing Channel Islands Awards are part of a global programme run by WealthBriefing, and its sister publications WealthBriefingAsia and Family Wealth Report, encompassing all of the world’s major wealth management centres.

Participants around the world recognise that winning awards is particularly important in these challenging times as it can provide clients with reassurance in the solidity and sustainability of the winner’s business and operating model.

Ravenscroft managing director of investments, Mark Bousfield, said the Overall Investment Manager Award was independent recognition of the company’s success and commitment to clients.

‘To be recognised by an independent judging panel for the business we have built, for the service we provide and for the part we play in our local communities is testament to the people I work alongside every day. They are passionate about what they do, committed to doing the very best by our clients and shareholders and who every day go above and beyond. Our clients are at the very centre of Ravenscroft as a business, they were when we first launched in 2005 and they will be for many years to come.’

Mr Boscher has worked in the Guernsey financial services industry since 1980 and joined Ravenscroft four years ago as Ravenscroft’s first ever Chief Investment Officer. Earlier this year, he was also appointed as Deputy Chairman for Guernsey Finance, which is responsible for promoting the island’s financial services industry across the globe.

‘Kevin has been a huge asset to Ravenscroft, providing our clients, private, corporate and intermediary, with knowledgeable insight and expertise that is detailed yet accessible, regardless of their investment experience,’ said Mr Bousfield.

‘His contribution to the company, to the industry and now to Guernsey through his Guernsey Finance positions makes him a worthy winner.’

Stephen Harris, ClearView Financial Media’s CEO, and publisher of WealthBriefing, was first to extend his congratulations to all winners and highly commended companies.

‘Every category winner and highly commended firm has been subjected to a rigorous and independent judging process and can be rightly proud of the success they have achieved this year,’ he said.

‘We have seen a marked increase in entrants and interest in all our global awards programmes and WealthBriefing Channel Islands Awards is no exception. These awards are so beneficial as they give organisations and individuals the opportunity to clarify their strategic thinking, have it independently validated, be recognised internally and externally and to celebrate in style with their peers.

‘I offer my congratulations and best wishes for the future to all winners and highly commended firms - they are all worthy recipients who join the elite list of wealth management professionals who form the global elite of WealthBriefing winners.’
